Será una jornada única donde destacados gestores especialistas compartirán su visión sobre el panorama actual de las inversiones en las principales estrategias en el mundo de los activos alternativos. Contaremos con una sesión panel con inversores institucionales y bancas privadas, de la mano de BBVA, Diaphanum Sociedad de Valores y Santander Private Banking, que finalizará con un Q&A.

Fermin Barquin,
Managing Director
Fermin joined Ben Oldman in 2022. Previously, he led at the European Investment Bank the direct equity and quasi-equity investments in the Infrastructure sector across Europe, where he originated investments for EUR 250m. Prior to that, he was M&A Director at Abengoa where he led transactions for more than EUR 1.5bn mainly related to the energy and water sectors. He has also worked at Triodos Investment Management, Monitor Capital Private Equity and Arcano Partners.

Tyson Morgan, Partner
Tyson Morgan is a Partner at G Squared, leading the firm’s relationship teams in the Americas, Spain, and the UK. He joined in 2016, focusing on high-growth tech investments and direct secondaries. Previously, he co-founded Northport Investments, investing in 40+ tech companies. He also worked at U.S. Robotics, 3Com, VTech, and Sycamore Networks. Morgan holds a BA in Telecommunications from Indiana University.

Isaac Benzaquen,
Founder and CEO
Isaac founded Ben Oldman in 2013, a highly-awarded investment firm with one of the best track records in alternative credit in Europe. Prior to founding Ben Oldman, Isaac worked at several international investment firms, including Babcock & Brown, a multi-billion-dollar infrastructure and private equity group. Isaac earned his degree in Finance and Accounting from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and received a Bachelor of Laws from Complutense University of Madrid.
David Schäfer,
Managing Director
David Schäfer, is a founding member and Managing Director of MPEP. He holds a board position in the AIFM and is primarily responsible for investment management and marketing. David has worked for several affiliates of MPEP’s parent company since 2008. He started his career in 2000 at the German state bank Helaba. David studied financial management and international business and holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration as well as a Private Equity Advisor certificate from the European Business School.

Boris Maeder, Managing Director & Head of International Private Wealth Distribution
Before joining Coller Capital, Boris was Global Head of Private Markets Distribution at UBS Wealth Management for eight years. He also worked at Abu Dhabi Investment Council overseeing the US private equity portfolio, and was a Senior VP at Auda Private Equity in New York. Boris started his career in private markets at Allianz and Dresdner Kleinwort Benson. He holds a summa cum laude degree from the International Management School Malente.
Irma Turkic,
Investment Director
Irma Turkic joined MPEP in 2014, she is responsible for deal sourcing, analysis, execution and post investment monitoring primarily for fund investments in Europe. Prior to joining MPEP, Irma was a financial analyst at Fidelity Investments in the US, one of the pioneers in mutual fund investing. She graduated from the University of Utah, David Eccles School of Business in Salt Lake City, Utah and holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.
